Our Ministries

Adults

  • Jolly Christians
    • Jolly Christians is the name of our Senior Citizens group at Meadowlake Baptist Church.  Though “Senior” they may be, our Jolly Christians are very active.  Each month they visit two different nursing homes, holding a preaching service each time.  They usually go out to eat after each service.

Our Jolly Christians also have adopted our church’s ‘Seedline’ ministry as their own.  They usually meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and often at other times to assemble John/Romans in various languages which we then send to different missionaries to use in their evangelism.

College and Career

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 37:4 and 5

  • Sunday Morning College and Career Ministry
    • Sunday School (10:00 A.M.) - Come and join us in our College and Career class.  We guarantee you will not only learn biblical truths straight from the Word of God, but will also find a group of young adults who are looking for ways to reach out to those around them.  We would be honored to have you as a visitor and encourage you to join us in the back building for breakfast before the class gets started around 9:55.
    • Click here to view our class web page.
  • Wednesday Night College and Career Ministry
    • Prayer Meeting and Bible Study (7:00 P.M.) - Each Wednesday night you will find a college and career group that is ready to dive into the Word of  God and explore the gems that God has left for us to discover in His Word.  Please join us as we go through different books of the Bible and share burdens with one another.

High School

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Psalm 111:10

  • Sunday Morning Teens Ministry
    • Sunday School (10:00 A.M.) - Consider this an invitation to join us for an exciting time in the Word of God. Our young people are anxious to meet you and include you in our monthly activities. The heart is happiest when it beats for others. You are important to our youth group!
  • Wednesday Night Teens Ministry
    • Prayer Meeting and Bible Study (7:00 P.M.) - Wednesday night is a special time for our youth to seek God’s power through prayer and be challenged by the Word of God. You can accomplish more in one hour of Wednesday night prayer time with God than one lifetime without Him. Pray with us!

Children's Ministries

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

  • Sunday Morning Children's Ministries
    • Sunday School (10:00 A.M.) - Are you looking for a great place for your kids to learn more about the Word of God? If your answer to this question is yes, then we have great news for you. Meadowlake Baptist Church strives to meet this need with our Sunday School program. We not only teach your kids biblical truths straight from God's Word, but we also provide them with fun and exciting ways to glorify God through singing and coloring pages that remind them of the lessons they learned that day. Our goal with all of our kid's programs is to help them better understand how much God loves them and that God is ready to use them for his service even at this young age.

    • Children's Church (11:00 A.M.) - Our children's outreach does not end after the Sunday School hour.  We also offer a time for your children to honor and glorify God during the regular service time in their own class.  They are given the opportunity to learn even more biblical truths and life applications during this hour.

  • Wednesday Night Children's Ministry
    • Patch the Pirate Club (7:00 P.M.) is designed for children between the ages of kindergarten through 6th grade. Our class meets every Wednesday night at 7 P.M. in our Patch Club room. We would like to invite you to join us and hope that you are ready for a wonderful time of fun, fellowship, and Christian growth. Visitation

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

  • God has called all Christians to take the gospel to the lost. Are you willing to let God use you in spreading the good news; that he came and died on the cross to pay the price for the sins of the world? At Meadowlake Baptist Church, you will find this opportunity to spread the gospel in our local community. The church goes on visitation on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. There are also other special visitation days that are scheduled to reach our community for Christ. For visitation times please make sure to check the Sunday bulletin each week.

Music and Worship

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 89:1

  • Special Music Ministry - Looking for a place where you can glorify the Lord with your voice?  At Meadowlake Baptist Church you will find numerous opportunities to use the abilities God has given to you in our special music program.  You can easily get involved in performing solo's, duet's, trios, or join in with any of the many other music groups.
  • Choir - Maybe you aren't comfortable with solo's but have a God-given ability that you would like to use in the choir.  We are always looking for new members as we prepare for cantatas and other special music events.

Seedline

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Psalm 126:6

  • At Meadowlake Baptist Church we recognize God's call to distribute the gospel to everyone. God has burdened our church to deliver the Word to the world and has given us a unique ministry in putting together scriptures.  We are continuously purchasing rolls of paper and getting scriptures printed and shipped to our church for assembly.  Once the scriptures are collated, stapled, and cut, they are packaged in boxes and shipped to either missionaries we actively support or missionaries whom we are informed of that have a need for scriptures in their field's native tongue.  Still not really sure of this whole process and why our church is involved?  Please feel free to stop by and we would be more than happy to show you around and maybe even help you to see what an awesome ministry this is.
